You are the Hope

It's two nights to go before we officially end this year. While many of you started getting busy preparing for the dawn of another year, let me first emphasize the meaning of Christmas.

Christmas has been celebrated by Christians by means of attending mass, exchanging gifts, or expecting gifts from Santa Clause. But, what is Christmas? Christmas is about the coming of our Savior into this world. A savior, who undergone the process of being born. Thus, hope was implanted.

Christmas is all about hope. It is a kind of hope, which was delivered to us through an innocent child. And this innocent little child changed the world - discipleship went through, faiths were rebuilt, sins were saved, and Christianity took place.  This event simply tells us that anyone can bring CHANGE to this world regardless of size and strength.

Christmas is about that child, who carries hope with him. We, on the other hand, also carry that same hope when we were brought out into this world. We brought hope to our parents, to our family, to our community, and to this world. We carry that hope for the same reason that we will bring change. All we have to do is to start developing that hope within us and start making change happen.

How to bring change? It will naturally come out. We are all change-makers. No doubt about that. The only possible question is... What kind of change will you make?

Merry Christmas!
